Sector
01 — Government Transition
We coordinated the government transition of a state administration encompassing 7 secretariats, 12 decentralized agencies, and more than 480 administrative units. We compiled over 2,400 public works files, reconciled bank balances totaling $1.2 billion MXN, and resolved 38 ÓSFAE findings prior to the change of administration. The incoming government assumed office free of tax liabilities or outstanding administrative proceedings.
02 — OSFAE Audit
A mountain municipality in SLP received audit findings citing $4.2 million MXN in public works irregularities detected by ÓSFAE. Within 45 business days we compiled the supporting documentation, argued the applicable legal exceptions, and resolved 94% of the findings. The outstanding balance was reduced from $4.2M to $247,000 MXN.
03 — White Paper
We advised a municipal administration on the compilation of White Books (administrative handover files) for 23 projects executed during the three-year term. The process included recovery of technical files, contracts, bonds, delivery records, and field logs scattered across different agencies. The municipality closed out without any public works findings before ÓSFAE.
Sector
04 — Restructuring
A family business group in SLP's industrial sector operated with 4 inefficient legal entities, duplicated tax costs, and ownership conflicts among siblings. We designed and implemented the corporate restructuring, merged two entities, established a family governance protocol, and defined a tax structure that reduced the consolidated tax burden by 23%.
05 — Tax Defense
A manufacturing company in SLP received a tax assessment for $8.7 million MXN arising from an electronic audit in which SAT disallowed $12 million in deductions. We filed an administrative lawsuit before the TFJFA arguing formal defects in the assessment and lack of legal grounds for the disallowance of deductions. The Tribunal ruled for total annulment of the assessment.
06 — Labor Law
A service-sector company with more than 300 employees in SLP faced 14 simultaneous labor claims filed following a workforce reduction. We managed a unified defense strategy: in 11 cases we achieved favorable settlements with payouts below 40% of the amounts claimed; in 3 cases the trial court ruled in the company's favor at first instance.
Sector
07 — Due Diligence
A business client was days away from signing the deed on a commercial property in SLP when our due diligence uncovered an undisclosed active mortgage registered in favor of a financial institution for $2.1 million MXN. The client cancelled the transaction without financial loss. Had it gone undetected, the mortgage would have been automatically assumed by the buyer.
08 — Lease Recovery
The owner of a commercial premises in downtown SLP had gone 8 months without receiving rent and had been misled with partial payments. We initiated the lease enforcement proceedings, obtained a provisional suspension of activity at the premises within 30 days, and achieved the tenant's eviction 4 months after proceedings began. The client recovered the property plus the 8 months of back rent.
